PhD positions in KASTEL -- Institute for Information Security and Dependability

We are looking for motivated PhD students in the field of cryptography.
You are part of the KASTEL Security Research Labs and do your research in the Cryptography and Security group of the Institute for Information Security and Dependability.

You should have a solid background in provable security, but be mainly interested in the theoretical background of cryptography and IT security. In the best case you have attended some of our courses and/or written a master thesis at our institute, but also with a related background (e.g. mathematics, physics) you are welcome to approach us.

We expect from you a collegial cooperation in joint research and you should be able to do research independently.
